Postal Affairs
Mr. E. W.
Archer, M.H.R. for this district has received the following departmental letter
from the Acting Deputy, P.M.G. Brisbane:-"I have the honour to advise you
that owing to the expansion of postal business at Invicta, near Bundaberg, it
has been decided to raise the status of the Receiving Office there to that of
Post and Postal Note Office. The business of the office under the new
conditions will be commenced as soon as the necessary stores have been supplied
thereto."
